Background to No Strings:

No Strings

We have been guests with many choirs and music clubs in England and Wales and appear regularly at the 'Fiddle & Bone' Birmingham's leading City Centre live music pub.  BBC Radio 2 listeners may have heard us on the 'Early Show' and we have appeared on BRMB, BBC Radio Shropshire and BBC WM where we were featured as 'Artists of the week'  Our music has recently been broadcast on 'Nocturnal Promenade' by Radio III Belgrade.  We have experience of corporate entertaining and enjoy helping with charity fund raising.

Michael Adams began piano at the age of 7 and accordion at 14.  Before going to Birmingham University to read mathamatics he regularly won first prize in the accordion class at Birmingham Music Festival.  While at university he continued his piano studies to LLCM, conducted a male voice choir for some years and currently enjoys teaching Suzuki piano.

Peter Gosling studied clarinet from the age of 15 and while at Birmingham University reading medical biochemistry, he continued his musical studies at Birmingham Conservertoire winning the concerto competition and gaining the ABSM recital diploma with distinction.  Since then he has performed as both soloist and orchestral player and played with a variety of chamber music groups.
